Sari Edelman, D.O., received her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University, Magna Cum Laude, with a BA in English/Creative Writing, and Mathematics/Actuarial Science. She received her post-baccalaureate pre-medical degree from New York University with honors. Dr. Edelman attended New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she completed her degree as a doctor of osteopathic medicine, graduating with honors. As a New York native, she remained close to her family to complete her residency and rheumatology fellowship at Winthrop University Hospital/New York University. During her fellowship, she engaged in academic
research on inflammatory conditions and cardiovascular disease and published several articles. With over 16 years of clinical experience, Dr. Edelman has become a trusted expert in diagnosing and managing autoimmune diseases, arthritis, and osteoporosis. During the early years of her career, she established and operated a private rheumatology practice on Long Island, New York. She later joined NYU Langone Faculty Group Practice, providing rheumatology inpatient and outpatient care. She believes in providing comprehensive evaluations to establish diagnosis and individualized care plans to allow for the best possible outcomes. Dr. Edelman has been providing rheumatological care in Florida since 2021. She is Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine and is a consulting physician at Baycare Morton Plant Hospital. During her time off, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the many beautiful beaches of the west coast of Florida, playing golf, and reading. Dr. Edelman is a member of the Florida Society of Rheumatology, Florida Medical Association, American College of Rheumatology, American Women in Rheumatology, and American Medical Association.
